The Spotlight Shines on Edeline

A couple years ago, I met the very talented Edeline on the Digital Scrap Talk message board and I was drawn to her lovely work. I also spent a month as a guest on her team and had a great experience. I’m so happy and excited to share this wonderful artist with you.

Edeline is married and has two beautiful children who inspire her in her designs and photography. She’s been living in Sweden for almost ten years and says she loves it. She’s also been in the digital world for almost five years and has been a designer for almost two years. Edeline says that she has found a new passion in photography and is participating in the 365 Photo Project, which she plans to see to completion.

What is your favorite theme for designing?

I don’t really like to specify a theme on my kits, I just follow as my mojo directs me

Does your community or countryside play a part in your designs?

Yes, actually.

Do you hand draw or use the computer?

I use my computer

Do you use a tablet to design?

Yes, I draw my doodles using my Bamboo tablet

How long have you been a designer?

I’ve been a designer for almost two years now

What is your favorite kit that you’ve created?

Be with you, My Little Artist, Kornhills Avenue, Amore De’Cante

How much time do you devote to designing?

I design after the family is asleep. It can take two  days for now while before it was only one day and I was done.

Can you tell us how your mojo directs you? Do you see something and  think “Wow, that would make a great kit!” or do colors inspire you?

My mojo is a bit strange. Looking at colors doesn’t really inspire me much. I follow my feelings/moods when I create my kits. Sometimes, when I’m around my kids, the feelings comes up and that’s what I want. For example, my kit for Digital Artist Magazine Lil Moa’s Diary, the kit came up because my daughter Charline was reading a book about Moa and then Little Monster, my son was acting like a little monster for a while after watching some cartoon on the TV.

What software program do you use?

I use  Adobe Photoshop and illustrator CS3 and Art Rage.

Where can we find your designs?

My shop can be found at http://www.edelinedesign.com/store
